Hi, do any of you have any experiences or recommendations between NWS and Turner for the supply of a reconditioned 300 tdi engine for my 90? NWS are about £750 cheaper at about £3100 delivered. Are Turner's worth the extra at £3850? Thanks in advance

Turners are a long established company. I have had a good experience with them. It's worth a search on here to see what has happened with other people using both companies.

All I can say is, a Turner engine will be as good as, if not better than a new one. £750 is a lot of money though.

cheers, yeah, I searched the forum but didn't get owt, maybe user error...

Turner have the best feedback, will see what else I get on here and give both a bell

i rebuilt my engine myself, but turners were my choice for all the bits and advice, i visited their workshop - they are good, its a proper 'old skool' knowledge type setup.

You pays yer money. Cheap isnt always best imo

I did exactly the same. They are superb. They even reply to emails on Sunday nights. You don't come across businesses like this very often IMO.

Maybe tell them your a member here and they have nothing but good things to say about them. You never know, maybe a small discount.
