Pirelli Scorpions.
Decent wear rates without overall grip being compromised.
Pretty stiff sidewalls, excellent progessive breakaway charactoristics.
Excellent wet, damp or dry grip.
Great straightline and lateral grip.
They still retain decent levels of grip, even when nearing the wear blocks, (unlike anything I have experianced from Michelin or Goodyear).
Decent return on fuel economy.
And I'm guessing that they have a fairly high silca content as they aren't too bad in cold or icy conditions. Compacted snow soon fills the tread blocks though.
