1994 300tdi Discovery. 62,000 genuine miles - All MOT's, original Bill of Sale & lots of receipts.
Metallic Green, recent timing belt and new rear springs plus rear discs. Looks like new inside, feels nice tight & everything works.
Interior unmarked, odd mark on the bodywork - None of the usual rust
How much would you pay ?
I've just bought it by the way so be interesting to know what you think
Cheers Scabby

Almost a full packet of cheesy wotsits and a wine gum (green) that I found stuck to the sole of my shoe.

Why?

Wow you must be feeling flush, unless it's got fuel in the tank. As I'm feeling pretty generous myself I'll up the stakes to a curry pot noodle, three mint tik taks and a sausage roll from Gregs :D

Sounds like it was garaged if no rust, so that's really good.
I am always weary of low mileage cars, as those are the ones that tend to fail in a big way, cars like to be driven. You would expect to see 22 service stamps for a car of that age that equaling a service every 3000 miles. I hope the engine holds out for you because the car sounds great.
Have you bought it for a good price, a car is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.
If I owned that car, I would be tempted to keep it totally original.

Oh dear what can I expect with my D1? with 45,500 miles in the last 18 + years of ownership 19 in September.
The only time a spanner has been used on the engine is to replace the water pump due to a bearing failure and servicing... plugs and changing oil.
Just 5 stamps in the service book, four from the main dealer required to keep up the warranty and one three years or so ago when I had the disos auto auto fluid changed, as don't do underneath removing crossmember and exhaust systems.

Never needed a disco but I thought it was a good idea when I sold my old RR which was main dealer serviced twice a year for the ten years of ownership, the company cars and the train now take the strain, plus a couple of other faster cars. :)

Blimey. Mine is, well, at the other end of the spectrum. 175,000 miles, and anything that's still original is rusty, or protected by oil from the head gasket leak...

Come on Discool, are you saying your oil has only been changed 5 times in 19 years? You know well that service intervals are every year or 6000 miles, which ever comes soonest.

No, I said the service book has only 5 stamps in it.

I reckon it's worth around 3k. Good D1's are becoming rare.
I bet your diff lock is seized.
