Hello everyone i am new to the world of 4x4's, I have just purchased a 1998 1.8i freelander and and apart from the rear window the rest of the car seems fine, But the rear window drops into the door for no aparent reason and im in a pickle as what to do. The dealer does not want to know about the problem and the local garage want's a fortune just to look at the motor. If anyone could help me i would be very gratefull as im begining to think ive bought trouble, any suggestions would be a great help. Any ideas please e mail me at john@kurinami.wanadoo.co.uk.

Its a common fault with the freelander, iv had one that does it, which is scary when its got your life savings in there (Tool Box) but i took it to the local land rover dealer and he said that he'll look at it, which he did, and it never happened again,
