Hello everyone, today, my disco 3 tailgate wouldn’t open from the catch above the number plate. However, it does from the key. Please could someone explain the parts I will need to fix this and does anyone have instructions?

Can be all sorts, switch/actuator/wiring or broken linkage, all of which can be diy fixed.
