Short notice I know, the spring in the tailgate release button has died does anyone have a button unit or just the spring possibly, we're going away for a few days with the kids.

I just don't have the time to faff about with dealers or tracking down one at the breakers...

I'm hoping someone has a spare one not too far away from me, please

Thanks for the offer gazz, I'm in S Wales at the moment for a few days managed to do a temp repair on the switch with a washing up sponge of all things... at least the rear tailgate not trying to open itself over the bumps....

Make your own spring with a length of piano wire from a model aircraft shop. That's what I did.
