Good day all, some quick advice needed regarding the two rear left & right windows in the tailgate area.
I have noticed on the right window O/S there are two small wires that attach to the bottom of the window with solder. Both mine on the right hand window have come adrift. Can anyone tell me if these wires are for the heated window as both windows have the wires running through the glass, or are they for the radio antenna? I was guessing the radio antenna shark fin was on the roof but have since been told the rear side windows operate the MW & LW on the radio and the roof fin does the GPS & FM radio, can anybody confirm which does which and are these demist elements as well in the side windows?

Also is there anyway of re-soldering these back on and how do you access them, some info on removing the trim would be great. I have attached a photo of the offending wire. Any advice would be great thank you.
Mark.

Your Antena normally whips freely in front of the sunscreen area. The two wires you mention have two blades attached for the wires to connect to. Have a look for the two blades on the right side of the bottom part of the tailgate glass. If they have been snapped off take a picture of the damage then we can assess the problem better.

The panel can be remove with a plastic pricer tool. But look underneath the in tray part before as you will need to remove 4 screws first then will be a plastic screen.

Thanks Saint, is that for The FM too or just Am Lw. Any ideas how to re attach these, and to access them. Thanks mate.
