I have a problem with the right-hand-side rear seat on in my D2. It pulls out from the side and clicks into the floor, but the back of the seat is 'jammed' so the back of the seat won't come up. The lever has locked, maybe?

Anyone else had this and is it a bugger to fix?

When putting the base section back down in place give it a good slam the back rest will lock in place as it should, (sometimes have to push the handle down but not always).
Lube, lube and more lube
Take a look at www.discovery2.co.uk which has a section on the rear seats, but the catches on the main rear seats need the same TLC...

Thanks, the 'slam it about' technique seemed to work!

Make sure you lube the mechanism, it seems the less used ones give trouble, so once a month or so a lick of light oil / grease and a slam about should be Ok ...
