Dropped the rear seats to move some stuff round the farm and now have a rattle/knocking coming from the rear drivers side seat it locks into place but can move it back and forth a little other side is solid.i take it there is a spring in the locking mechanism any info would be welcome as now driving with it down as it's bloody annoying.

They all do that, my D1has done it since i bought it 8 year ago and the D1 I had before that one used to rattle the LHR seat back. Only time it doesn't rattle is when it's being sat in or in the down flat position which is how I always leave it and use it as a truck.

Never had a noise up to now from mine but I suppose like myself it's getting old and creaky.

Fixed it with electrical tape just wrapped it two times round the pin on the seat and rattle has gone .
