I currently have a 'Commercial Version' of the Disco 2 I use for work along with my Disco 1 which tends to be used more of a family car. As the Disco 1 is now past its best and due to an increasing family a nice 5 door Disco 2 would be great rather than the five of us having to squeeze in and out of a 3 Door Disco 1 all the time.
The Disco 2 is an 04 model and in great condition and with low milage so therefore rather than sell it and try to find/buy the equivalent condition vehicle with rear seats already in I'm wondering whether it might be cheaper and easier to fit rear seats and belts into my existing commercial Disco 2?
Firstly there are the obvious parts that I would need such as seats, belts, window regulators, etc. is it a fairly straighforward conversion?
Secondly what are the implications with regards to the DVLA? Would I have to let them know I've installed extra seats? And if so how do I go about this?
