Have you fitted seat belts to your inward facing rear seats.?

I've just fitted two rear bench seats in my 90 and I'm looking to install seatbelts. Firstly, is there a legal requirement.? Secondly what has others fitted, 3 point or lap belts?

:search: :p there is no legal requirement to fit restraints to bench seats or dicky seats. BUT if fit lap belts or harnesses. They must not be used to restriain a child. As there are no approved restraints for side facing seats. and it is an offence to use an unapproved restraint for a child. Also children have priority over adults for seats that do have "proper" seatbelts so Missus in the back kid in the front passenger seat.. That should cheer her up

Under heights need boosters, boosters can't go in side facing seats = no under heighters in side facing seats

Once the kids are tall enough they can site in the side facers with no belts

Oops sorry but not able to search, well that's not strictly true, I can...but...since updating my iPhone 4S to this ISO 7 I am having some major issues, the main one being a time lag which pretty much renders the search function useless!!

Red...cough I mean Pikey :) now that's exactly where I've stuck her, rather tempted to block the bulkhead off now....Hmmmm Peace :D
