Hey guys.

had an hour on the spanner’s this morning fitting a few nice new shining replacement parts.

Steering damper
Rear shock absorbers

I am seeking some advice before I start the next activity.

the rear passenger side radius arm to chassis bush is knackered. Any how to guides or advice on how best to get the radius off and remove/refit the bush?

Thanks in advance

20 tonne didn't budge mine until I put some heat on the arms.

To fit the new ones I put them in the freezer over night and cleaned the holes in the arms until they shined.

Don’t bother trying with a vice !!

Went in 3/4 of the way then snagged up, thought I’d put a bar on the vice handle just to give her abit of pressure and the front vice jaw sheared off!

off down to the local garage and he pushed it some with some fancy bush kit.

she’s in now... disco is like a Rolls Royce now!!

Iv got a set like that, and a press.... paid for itself many times over...

Now, Cortina's. I had two MK3's and a MK5. Great cars, made of metal that rusted as soon as you looked at it, but brilliant to work on.
