In the past my project 1969 109 2.25 petrol has been moved by using a forklift. This has bent the rear propshaft.

I’m trying to source a replacement. Are S11A and S111 rear Propshafts the same?

Yes you are correct below is from a parts supplier


Propshaft FRC4907 fits the rear on 88 inch wheelbase Series and Lightweight Land Rovers from 1958 to 1984.

Thanks. That says 88”, so just to clarify does the same apply to the 109”?

Sorry didn’t read that properly , it depends on the diff whether it’s got Rover or Salisbury and the 1 ton looks different again

Ok thanks.

I’ve looked at the diff (attached) and I think it’s a Salisbury. I guess this means I need the Series 3 propshaft?

Looks like 591279 as above for 4 cylinder, the 6 cylinder is different best to fit new prop bolts all round
