I had done my rear passenger door recently and on my old one was the attachment clamp that you fix onto the new one. This would fit snuggly on the bottom of the glass for it to push up and pull down. If this loose then you could use foam to pad or doublesided tape.

Thanks for your reply :)
As you can see in the piccie I have got a plate with 2 holes. What attaches here? Pictures? Part number? I have been told that ASR 2569 was the right part. I have got one of these, it doesnt look right.

When you took out the old did you keep it. Here are two picturesWP_20150501_012.jpg WP_20150501_013.jpg

As you can see you need to transfer the old clamp to the new plate. They do not come with unless you order that particular part. If you do not have the original you maybe able to fashion a clamp plate with metal and plastic for the grip. Hope this helps

Hi..thanks for the piccies. The previous owner sent me the new regulator minus the clamp!! I have spoken to a Land Rover shop and they sent ASR2569. Its a soft rubber piece. You would nt happen to know the part number.....☺

asr2569 is the part needed to attach to the plate on the regulator then the glass fits into the rubber part tight. As you will have seen on my two pictures only one nut an bolt is needed on the top part of the plate. hope this helps
