Hi
As mentioned in the title , my rear n/s door won’t unlock.
It does lock on both the Leyton and button.
Should I just buy a replacement actuator?
I’ve located a Disco3 one nearby to me for a decent price.
Will this be the same as the Freelander2 item ?

There was me thinking LR might actually have used better quality parts for the FL2?????
Sorry mate but this is a VERY common complaint with FL1's. On them I just by cheapo used off fleabay and swap them so I'm guessing the same applies for your car..

Fault happens. It's one of them things. All cars have issues at some point.

What did yer do in the end to fix it?

It's not just LR that suffer from door lock actuator problems. It's very common on VW, Audi, Skoda and Seat vehicles too.

And Vauxhall's. My Zafira had a faulty window when I bought it, then after a few weeks the door refused to open.
Turns out they have a common fault in the wiring loom between the door and the car.
