Hi guys,

Quick question, I had my Landrover in for a pre mot inspection and I need some welding done on inner wings and a small bit on rear chassis leg however while it was up on ramp I noticed that my rear mudflap are only attached by the screws on rear wings as the metal plates are rusted badly....

Where can I get these and are they easy to remove and install the new ones??

It’s a Disco 2 I have.

Thanks again.

Really easy.

You want these

On the rear lower edge of the wheel arch there is a lip with 3 bolt holes through it, grind off bolts, new M8 bolts and penny washers with a liberal slop of something to stop the rot and fit the new ones, glad you reminded me, need a new drivers side one for the nearside of my Disco :)

They don’t look the same as the ones on mine?

This looks like the plates and stat brackets on mine https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/282571342057

The little tabs on the lower edges are for fitting to the bottom edge of the rear quarter panel

Can’t see any of the photos you attached?

Yeah that floor strut is actually quite important as it stops the bracket from flapping around and fatiguing the bottom of the wheel arch and pulling the bolt through the rear quarter panel.

Bloody hell @brianconwy that looks bad, real bad!

Have mine done recently. Got the complete kit from YRM metal solutions around £53.00 galvanised.
