On a LR Defender 110, should a rear one-piece ladder be bolted to the body above the guttering, or just allowed to rest in the guttering and be bolted at the bottom only, near the light cluster?
I think I know the answer, but would like to confirm.

I admit I have a 90, however my ladder just rests on the roof gutter, and bolts with 2 bolts to the rear member. Hope this helps...

mine bolts at the bottom and also at the top, as well as sitting in the gutter.

Hi, thanks for your replies. It looks like some ladders bolt at the top and others don't. Mine is from Front Runner, South Africa. The odd thing is that the ladder has np pre-drilling. A photo shows no bolts at the top, yet I was sent two 1 3/4" bolts, each with a locking nut, an ordinary nut, and three washers.
