Hello, can someone please give me any info in whether the complete removal & replacement of the boot fuse box is simple ? Is it easy to 'unplug' it and then re-attach a new one to the wiring loom ? Will the new box work straight away or is there anything I should be doing ? I have ordered a new box (with fuses in) but would appreciate knowing if this is a layman's job or needs an auto electrician. Thanks in advance.

I've not needed to change the boot fuse box, but I can't think it's that difficult to do. I've never heard of one going wrong.

Thanks for the reply. The problem seems to have been some moisture (maybe from a spill in the boot) has condensed in the fuse box and corroded some of the fuses to a state they do not work - on the heated seats for instance.

FL2 does have a fuse box int rear below the floor shelf. If I were to swop one I would disconnect the battery, then swop it all out, then reconnect the battery. There's a number of important fuses int there.
