Rear drive / half shaft renewal.


This is quite an easy job tae do, so here’s how ah did it.

First Ah slackened the wheel nuts and drive flange nuts….

then jacked up the bus and removed the wheel….

took off the dust cap, removed the bolts on the drive flange and pulled the shaft out…..

Ah had a spare drive flange lyin’ about so didn’t have to remove the circlip on this shaft. ( if yer flange is good with very little play then re use it)

Ah stuck the flange on the new shaft….

then a new circlip…..

then the dust cap…..

Gave the hub a good clean, put a new gasket on and stuck the new shaft back in….

stuck the bolts back in, stuck the wheel back on and torqued them up….

Then ah did the same on the other side…

That’s it, job done ;):D
