I've had 2 new rear bearings fitted on my hubs but still hearing a wuring noise from back end I don't know if it's the farm type tyres or the rear diff
Prop has been removed
Is it mot fail if I remove the diff
Any info ideas are much appreciated
 
Try a different pressure in tyres to see if that changes the noise, if it doesn't then look to the diff

If so, swap the rear tyres left to right and right to left.

Mine begins to make a slight diff type noise at 50 Mph, after about 5K miles until I swap the tyres as above. It then shuts up for another 5K, then I swap them back.

This tyre swapping is actually part of the service schedule. ;)

The FL1 body is quite good at exaggerating some types of tyre noise. It's definitely more suited to road biased tyres, for a quiet ride.

All the tyres are new there like them on a normal landrover country type if you no what I mean I'm going to check air pressure and see how that is

However I suspect your noise is the tyres, not the diff.
The FL1 body doesn't like most types of off road tyre.
Those types of tyre are made for going over hard terrain for the lowest price, so are horrible on the road.
My guess is the tyres are the cause of the noise.

I now think it's them tyres I'm just looking for a decent set
 
If you remove the diff, you'll also have to remove the drive shafts. I believe though you need to leave the end part of the drive shafts in the hubs or they'll fall oft. ie remove the drive shafts down to the outer CV.

Front & rear tyres not matching is of lesser importance with the props removed - just a normal FWD safety type issue for matching tyres.

I've been looking at that landrover blogger and he removed the rear diff and the people that followed his advice all ended up with problems ie abs light/ect ect so I don't want to end up with more problems
