Reet me owld cock sparra's

I've got a slight oil leak on the rear diff and a clunk when taking up the drive

Is it worth replacing the bearings and seals and if so whats the job like to do? Any special tools etc?

Many thanks in advance:)

Regards Ian

you need instructions to reset diff if changing bearings ,and bearing dollys to push races in,and special spanner can me made to adjust carrier bearings to get preload and crown wheel backlash right

Hi Ian,
You checked your centre diff mount mate? if you can move the diff nose by hand then all you may need is a new mount.
I had a garage replace oil seal on diff pinion...fooked it up so bad had to put new crush washer on and redo the preload...bit if a pugs ear as you only get one shot with the crush washer/collapsable spacer then you have to take it to bits and replace again!
