Hello everyone simple question I have a leak on my rear crank shaft does the gear box have to come out to replace the seal or is there an easier option on fixing my leak.

Thanks in advance for all the kind help you folks give freely.

If we had a clue what vehicle it would help, if a defender, disco or rrc or series= take engine out easier in my opinion

Well I had a look at Dakars page and it would seem his vehicle is a Jack Russell!

It's not running "ruff" though................just leaking

Sorry for my ignorance chaps i have a 1986 defender 90 2.5 N/A Diesel and hes a staffy not a jack russel hes now cowering behind the couch poor doggy.
