Right, ended up changing a rear caliper, need to do the other side but need to sort out summat first.

Part number STC1269 seems to be correct, and the only one listed, and it fits fine.
Externally it is identical to my old unit, but the pads are ever so slightly different, as are the retaining pins.

the old units used these.


the new unit needs a different kit.
possibly STC8576


but cant decide if thats just the springs and split pins from the first kit.

The pads also seem slightly different, but no part number on the box (label is damaged

Now, I need to get another calliper to do the other side, but obviously dont want mis matched brakes, is STC1269 the correct (newer style? ) calliper

if all else fails Ill have to get another calliper from where I got this one, but it costs more than it should (but I could get it same day...)

Starting to wonder if they gave me a 90 calliper?
Seemed to fit ok, slight difference in the gap at each side, but not massive,

Ahh fudge, the more I look, the more it looks like I have a 90 caliper...
might have to swear a bit...
