Like lots of annoying vibrations, this is proving difficult to trace and so I'm hoping that someone with a Td5 Disco II might have experienced the same - and fixed it!
In first gear - and only first gear - whilst letting the clutch out and adding a dab of power to move away there is a loud low-frequency vibration that comes through the accelerator pedal. No vibration through the clutch pedal.
The clutch, DMF, etc., are brand new.
Its not affected by the angle of the steering.
There are no other vibrations at any other speeds, accelerating or decelerating.
It only does this when moving away from stationary in first gear.
The only way to avoid it is a few too many revs when moving away.
It is driving me mad (where's a 'pulling my hair out' smilie when you need one?)
Any ideas?!
Thanks
Hugh
