hi there I have a p38 diesel and need to get hold of the re sync tool to get the pump working again.
Is there anyone out there who would possibly rent one to me for a day or so?
I am in Chatham kent.
Any help would be really appreciated.

Have a look at the Land Rover International Rescue map.

Sure there must be someone nearby. South East London isn't so far away. Is @biketeacherdave down there somewhere? Might know someone nearby?

Iv got the air suspension thingy sync mate but is for the v8 don't know any one who has an oil burner tho will the v8 work on the ERM diesel ???

EAS Kicker is no good for syncing ECM to BECM. He needs a Syncmate.

Just been out to the car I have both the eas kicker and a becm sync mate soooo will my v8 sync mate work on the oil burner ????

No. Unless BBS are pulling a fast one by making three different units for the GEMS, Motronic and EDC.

Oiley is in Kent and has a Hawkeye for a Freelander but whether this will sync a P38 is another question. Seem to have a bit of a hole for Kent!

I have syncmates for all engine types available to hire if required. I'm a bit further away in Swindon, but RM 1st Class generally has things there the next day!

I know about these sync-mates.
The diesel, gems & thor all work on different systems & there's a sync-mate for each system, except the early EDC.

They cannot be used on another system other than the system they were designed for.

What a great tool.
