A bit of a re-introduction really,

I joined this site 2 years ago when I was looking to buy a p38 for towing the wife’s horse around. I learnt a lot about what to look for, what not to do, and all of that. I tried to follow it all, but ended up buying the second car I saw, and have thoroughly enjoyed owning a P38 for 18 months now.

As is the way, time and commitments prevented me spending any time on here, unless something went wrong, but I always managed to get an answer from here without having to ask a question, so I’ve not posted much at all!

Now the horse has gone, but I still love the rangie, so have stupidly bought a very high mileage p38 vogue that I intend to keep as a bit of project car, but one that is a better start than my SE Bordeaux!

I suspect I may be around here a little more often now!

I do at least have a practical engineering background, as a marine engineer in the Royal Navy for 8 years now, so although these engines are much smaller than the ones I normally play with, they are just as floored as some of the old Paxmans I’m used to! (and leak oil just as much)!

HELLO (again) ALL!

Thankyou, it sounds awesome, but is only a week before our first child is due, so I don't think SWMBO whould be too impressed with me!

Another year hopefully!
