 In that order!
Got the low-down today and it's pretty bad but fixable' so having the work done and will have to wait 2-3wks before it's back......costing over £2000 but if i keep the car it will pay for itself through work in under a year so not too bad.....when i read the email i was a bit down about it but thought hey-ho lets get on with it, so.......
I'll go to the tip (having just got Binky the 4x4 Mazda bongo Back from the paint shop, which has been pretty much bullet proof since we've had it) I got a whole 2 miles up the road and he overheated.....WTF!.....really......now....today....coasted to a stop with my head on the steering wheel gibbering.......called the RAC and they said 2-3 hrs....so i waited till it cooled down so's i could get it off the the road.......and whilst moving it it didn't overheat so drove it home, cancelled the rescue and turned out to be a pipe had perished....cut it off re-attached it and all is good in the world.......wait a minute whats that dragging on the fan-belt.....only the main wireing loom from the front to the engine......it had rubbed through the armour protection, the insulation and was in the process of polishing the actual wire!
Going to buy a fiat panda....
