Hi guys
I thought i would post this here to keep everything together but this may not be a rebuild as i am not sure what to do with it as it came with the 2a when we bought it and is home made, anyway on the whole it looks ok with matching paint work to the 2a and sporting land rover wheels but sadly although it has back plates fitted its not braked and its fitted with a beam axle rather than a landy axle, it has a good strong steel chassis, the bed and sides are of good quality timber but i don't think it would carry much weight aspecially as its not braked, the draw bar is made from 2" box section steel part welded and part bolted to the trailer in which the way its made it pulls not only from the chassis of the trailer it pulls from the bulkhead of the trailer aswell which i think is quite odd, there are no lights fitted and has 3 drop down support legs one at the front and two at the back, oh and there is a crack in one of the welds to the draw bar but can easily be repaired.
if it was a braked trailer i was hoping to keep this trailer and it would look good behind my 90 if painted the same colour as the 90 but think its to much work to make it worth while so son is seeing if his g/friends dad wants it and if not it mite be up for sale but we will have to see.
anyway here are some pic's
