Hi

Having replaced indicator lamps to replace rear worn out ones the nearside one does not light with the dash light illuminated and rapidly clicking.
The offside rear works but when I tried swopping them over both failed to illuminate with rapid clicking. Have tried replacing bulbs, have checked all light bulbs and these work. The old lamps had earth tags screwed to the body whereas the replacements do not presumably earthing through the loom. I assume the relay is working due to the clicking. Help.

If you lower the resistance (by for example removing an idicator bulb) the flasher relay will click rapidly.
If a bulb fails it will click rapidly.
If you fit LED bulbs it will click rapidly (as they draw less current).
Old style filament bulbs work either way (+ to any side), LED only work one way.

There is no 'earth through the loom'.

no earth no flash any images of the units you fitted the rear are earthed individually via body and the front via Header 287
