Hi all. I'm new here so be gentle with me
This is also the first time that we've owned a Range Rover, it's aTD6 2004 model, drives really well and is comfortable. I bought it yesterday and today i'm collecting it, but there was somethings that I need to ask questions about if that's ok?
All the best,
Matt
This is also the first time that we've owned a Range Rover, it's aTD6 2004 model, drives really well and is comfortable. I bought it yesterday and today i'm collecting it, but there was somethings that I need to ask questions about if that's ok?
- At the front, very bottom of the bumper is a tow bar. It seems to be missing that piece of plastic that covers that part, is that easy enough to get hold of and easy to fit? What is the name of that part that I need?
- Should the lights come on when you drop the sun visors? These don't come on for the passenger or drivers side? Just wondering if i'm doing something wrong or could it be a fuse that's blown?
- If you look through the engine bay, you can see right to the floor and everything is exposed to the elements. Should the car have a plastic cover that covers the whole chassis? Our current Volvo has this. If it is missing, are these also easy enough to purchase? Perhaps a second hand one, and how are these fitted?
- The reverse sensors are not working, is this a common problem for a car of this mileage i.e. 110k? Are these easy to fix or will it be costly?
- Lastly, is there any online company that would give me a Warranty for this car covering the main stuff i.e. engine, gearbox etc.. if you know of any that would cover an older car that would be great, thanks.
All the best,
Matt
