classic kev is your man he is in Dunstable too have a look at his its nice and neat do remember that it is a V8 and without it being properly sorted water will find its way to get to the ignition somewhere and cut the engine out. Classic kev has it sussed and does quite a bit of wading check out our latest green land trip to Standon ford in the Herts forum his is EFI though Jai.

Viper,

Snorkel on a rangie is not too difficult - mine is a B&Q special and it works a treat. The only thing you will need to order is flexible hose of the appropriate length and diameter, also you need to be careful marking out how and where to cut the decker panel.

Fabricating mounting brackets for the snorkel is easy - angle grinder and a vice.

Once you've got the snorkel just about sussed you need to think about axle, gearbox and transfer box breathers so they can be extended either around the outside of the snorkel or for a neaster job, inside the snorkel.

Then you need to look at your electrics especially the coil and dizzy. If it is done right a V8 can swim with the best of them. So far I've had no problems....but you never know eh!
