Thought id share my weekends work, had a leeking sunroof since i got it, so i thought i had better sort it out, while it was stripped it was time to chuck in my ebay bargain £65 grey leather interior. even got the electric functions working, just the heated seats to sort out now.

Sorting the leaky sunroofs was easy enough thanks to a bit of searching on here, while it was all stripped out i took the oportunity to tint the windows as the access was so easy.

The front seats went in fairly easily, just cut the rangie brackets off and welded the mount points to the disco sub frame.

The back subframes on the other hand were a mare, needed complete bastardisation/fabrication of the old seat bases in order to make them fit, however i have managed to retain the folding function etc.

Once i figure out how to include pictures in the text i'll caption them.

PS. how do i get an avatar?

Hi

I am just about to start the same project, any tips on fitting the rear seats? The front seats look relatively straight forward to do but would be interested to hear how you went about adapting the back seats to fit.

Thanks

Tom
