I am running a range Rover V8 With a 95 litre LPG tank, On average how many miles should I get from one full tank of LPG?
That will be because the TV receiver is analogue and the analogue signal has been switched off. You need to upgrade to a digital receiver if you really want TV in the car.Sorry to go off on limb but do u know anything about the television screen on the dash? It all works except the TV, I can't get a picture.
Don't light a fag near it, might make a big bangI'm going to get the system serviced as the previous owner was unsure when it was last done. Any suggestion as to the best garage for the job? I've herd good things about a garage in Stirling ( I live in central Scotland)
I will keep an eye on how many miles I get, not that bothered as it could do 5mpg and I would still be smiling.....love my new motor.
I get a very faint smell of gas after the cars engine is turned off, is this unburnt fuel escaping or something more sinister?

A slight wiff of gas isn't really anything to worry about, although it does mean you probably have a very tiny leak somewhere. My Subaru used to do this, when I last changed the filter I discovered a jubilee clip slightly loose and it has not smelt since. The thing with LPG is that it absolutely STINKS in any meaningful quantity... certainly any leak big enough to affect MPG will be unbearable.
For the service - find out what make the system is and find a specialist that deals in that system. Common (and best) makes are BRC and Prinz. The 'service' consists of changing the filter (about £20) and checking for leaks and the overall condition of the installation. The only thing that is likely to affect your MPG is if the system is poorly set up, in which case you will need somebody with the correct software to interrogate the LPG ECU and if necessary adjust trims etc, ideally in real time while driving.
Hope that helps!

These people are absolutely bloody fantastic strathearnengineering.com and they are only in Aberuthven, well worth a knock on. I think for bimbling around, you will or should be getting about 12 - 15 mpg depending upon your right foot!
The whiff of LPG should really be investigated whether it is a single or multi-point system fitted, if nothing else for peace of mind. I am very wary of LPG, even though I use it, I have seen at first hand the results when it all goes Pete Tongue, and to be honest, it ain't pretty! Pop along to the lads at Strathearn they are reasonable and will sort you out no end.
I'm getting worried now, will look these guys up and see if I can get along to them.
Have you served on boats? I just left the mob spent most of my time under the deep blue sea.
Cheers

The unit is behind the trim, N/S in the boot, good idea to look and see if it's all soaking wet as this is a common problem.I forgot about the switch off of analogue, will need a dab radio soon as well.
How can I upgrade the unit, where is it located?
Hi guys with regards to the Tv i used a plug in line box from park my auto which i found through here works a treat turns the analog digital .. cost about £135..with my L322 i drive it pretty hard and get 200-220miles max and a service is £40 you can buy the filter and do it yourself its simple enough ..
