Hi all

I have an issue with the steering column adjustment on my Range Rover. It’s never worked since I got it so don’t know what caused it to stop working.
There is no sound from either motor when the switch is operated. I’ve had the steering column shroud off and from images and videos I’ve seen there is nothing broken in the weak areas of the column. All wiring appears to be attached.
I’ve plugged my diagnostics into it which can see what position I’m moving the adjuster stalk in. So there’s power getting to the stalk.
Fuses 20 and 23 in the glovebox are fine.

The only thought I have is the memory seats don’t work. The electric seats move but you can’t save any memory settings in, the red M illuminates but then goes out by itself. As the steering wheel moves with memory buttons I wasn’t sure if they shared and ecu.
Thanks in advance

the seat module part of the buttons on the side of the seat controls it all.

So if that had failed it will keep the seat adjustment but prevent the steering wheel moving at all?
Sorry for the late reply. I used a 2003 bmw saloon unit in mine as a temporary measure and everything but the electric steering wheel would adjust.
My original unit had broken and wouldn't move the seat forwards.

Between bmw cars and the l322 they seem to break down internally a lot.
