Hi guys

I have a Range Rover 2003 TD6 2004.

What antifreeze for the coolant do I use?

Will the standard red OAT one from Halfords? :) like this one?

Oh and make sure you get the concentration right or it will keep telling you to check the coolant level.

Oh bloody hell. Will check in morn, will I cause much damage driving like this.. Iโ€™m used to my Audi TT New to the range life lol

I thought the float was also a hydrometer so would sit higher or lower with the concentration but that's just guess work from stuff I had read.
Anti-freeze is mainly to stop it freezing although it also has a rust inhibitor to stop the cooling system rusting so I'd say it's safe to drive in the short term. Of course that's only my opinion.

just to confuse ive got green in my one
Apart from a possible problem with specific gravity, it really doesn't matter which type of anti freeze you use as long as you don't mix them. I use green supermarket ready mixed in the P38's the Transit and my MR2.

Put a new bottle on if it keeps saying check coolant and the levels good and temps good,

Green/blue g48 coolant for a td6
