Hi all,

My dad has a 2004 Td6 l322 range rover. He is looking at renewing the injectors himself to save on labor costs, however does not know if any special tools are required to remove them. If so what tools and is it an easy job?

Cheers

Why does it need injectors?
They come out easy sometimes, others not.
I wouldn't be renewing them unless they are proved to be faulty though. Labour will be the lowest part of the replacement bill anyway as TD6 injectors are expensive. That's why I asked how faulty injectors have been diagnosed.

My father wants to try and clean them before forking out for some new ones.
The car has been diagnosed as needing new injectors at a local garage
