Happy Easter everyone,

Before i go out and tinker, I've ordered off tinter web 2 x used switches for my electric windows (G Plate 3.9 Classic). I only need one switch but the one i'm replacing has an A on it and the spare one that came with it has a B on! They both look the same so could i also use the B type as a spare?

Thank you

Rich

Never noticed that before even though I replaced a couple of mine years ago!
I think it's probably to do with the the arrows on the front of the switch, one end being solid white & the other white outline with a black centre.
Try the part numbers on Rimmer's site & you'll see what I mean on their pics of the switches.
Lrcat says:
PRC5254 - Switch Rocker Electric Window Lift Rear Type A Red RH
PRC5255 - Switch Rocker Electric Window Lift Rear Type B Yellow LH
Doesn't show fronts separately although for the two door cars the above part numbers are also shown but as Blue & Green

I've had bad experiences with these devices.
When substituting switches in the past I've come across known good ones that operate on one RR, but not when transferred to another o_O
Good luck !
