Landy-Bobtail

New Member
 Hi :D

I am looking to get a new 4x4 to do some trials in at the AWDC but I am having some problems with what car I should go for.

I currently have a land rover defender 90 that’s in good condition, and therefore I think it has reached I limit of off road driving with out me damaging it so I have decide I need something else.
From what I have found on the internet I am currently thinking that a classic range rover bobtail is what would be best for what I want to do. But as I am quite new to driving off road I may be wrong as it would be my first proper off raoder.
If anyone has a bobtail would you be able to answer any of the following questions
• Has it be relatively easy to work on
• What should I look out for when buying a bobtail
• Would any body be able to give me a price guide for buying a bobtail (mu budget is around £3000
• If anyone has brought a bobtail Could you give me an example of what you brought for your money

Also if anyone thinks a bobtail would be a bad thing for a beginners off roader could you please say as I have made to many mistakes in the past.
Finally could anyone else give me any other examples that would suit what I want e.g Suzuki

Sorry to ask you so many questions
