So sat watching a segment of top gear yesterday done by the hamster about a group of ex servicemen who were prepping to do the paris dakar by doing timetrials in a frelander 1 good to see a freelander being used in anger!
series 17 episode 6 if you want to watch the whole bit

sadly the freelander is currently not on the road but be interesting to know ehere it went

Is that the v6 one ur talking about , think one of the members here owned it, or useto , think it was @RealBeale was the guys name ??

No K series I think they say in prog that the lad driving slips the clutch as he's got no feeling in his left aftificail foot so got a light on dash so he knows when hes doing it

From memory it was a V6 with a manual box conversion.
