Hello,

my name is Rainer and I come from Germany. I live near Bremen.

We bought a Series 3 109 Diesel built in 1975 4 years ago.

We then took it apart completely and restored it technically. Among other things, the chassis, tires, brakes, tank, ball joints and drive shaft were replaced.

In 2022 we fulfilled our dream and went on a tour of Scotland.

When we got back home, a valve cracked and ate into the piston. After that, the engine was completely dismantled and rebuilt. Everything was new.

I also installed a canvas top for the summer.

The year after next we want to travel to Cornwall with our Series 3.

Best regards

Rainer

Hi and welcome!

I recognise the Landy and name from the series 3 club forum. Nice pictures. How’s the search for its history going?

Welcome to the forum. Why Cornwall? they speak funny Wurzel and their women folk having their sideburns sheared twice a year.

Nothing new. I get a document with the full adress from Keith Black. But I can't get his Telephone number to contact him.

Hi Rainer, the landy looks amazing. I'm after a camping spot for 2 landys in late September, we're on route to Malmo and need a stopover near Bremen, any where good? Wild camp is preferred. Thanks, Mike (flat frog on here)
