Hey everone,

Has anyone got this DAB radio in there landy, and would you recommend it over a normal radio.

has any one used the DAB radio any where else in europe and does it get good reception there also.

i am mostly looking for a LW station, where i can also pick up the world service.

my understanding of most car radio's is that NONE have LW, is this correct ...???

i once heard that MERC'S and BMW have LW in there cars.. does any one know if this is a dedicated LW network or if it is just AM / FM that goes to a lower frequency to pick up the world service.

Does any one know how to get LW station in there landy.

thanks all

I believe you can get a DAB converter. It simply plugs into you radio via the AUX socket which is designed for plugging in your MP3 player (there might be a version that looks like an audio cassette tape and goes in the tape slot) - you can also get an FM transmitter which can plug into your MP3 player (DAB converter I assume) and then you tune your radio to the wee FM transmitter. I use an FM transmitter when I drive other lorries, but I have hard-wired in an AUX input to the back of my own lorry stereo system (I hide the wire behind the dash when not in use - my employers & colleagues don't know about it.)

Hope this helps.

Ron.
