Hello all.
More strange things on my 09 freelander 2 1st radio and sat nav lock out.
and now radio interference when i press button for max defrost.
Any ideas please!!!!

fit an in-line choke to the radio feed

get a couple of clip on filters, and put them on your radio power wires, the name for these is Ferrite beads they do not look much but they do a wonderfull job, also to look for a loose earth, this can cause problem look on the radio or the heater for this. hope this helps

especially Freelaner for exact part and number.
All pointing the same way, it does it on any stations,but does it mean the fan motor is U.S. or just needs the in line suppressor.

well mine was just an example of the type of things out there to use.

there will be ones that will more precisely fit the bill for your application

most likely the carbon brushesare worn and it is generating more arcing which causes RF noise. just fit a suppressor ( rf notch filter)

Stratstones, under an extended land rover warranty have found the rear windscreen to be at fault, and changed it. Thanks every one who sent me ideas to think about!!!!
