Morning all,
Just a quick question. Bought a replacement radiator for my 2002 P38 diesel auto part number PCC108460. Took it out the box and all looked well except it has two outlets on the bottom of the rad that my old one doesn't have. The outlets look like they are probably some thing like a 1/2" female thread. My brothers a plumber so i guess he may something that could plug the hole. Alternatively I wait and speak to the supplier tomorrow to see what they suggest, either way the Rangies going nowhere at the moment.
Any suggestions on what these fittings may be for?
Thanks

Dave

they use the same rad to do both options ,the cooler is separated from coolant so makes no difference whether used or not

Wasn't there an after market upgrade if not too late to change for the diesel?

It is for the diesel but the manual version. Manual has gearbox oil cooler in radiator. Automatic does not. Rad makers seem to be providing only one version which services both types of car. Probably as a cost saving move.
