just had my (2000 V) TD5 back from garage, she's had a new thermostat, new water pump and a new radiator. She's been filled with red anti-freeze and now she overheats.

As I look at the back of the radiator there are two pipes going into the rad at the drivers side. Which pipe goes into which inlet on the rad. From the thermostat, does that pipe go into the upper or lower inlet.

Speaking to land rover in Elgin, i was surprised to be told 'NOT SURE REALLY'.

any help will do.
cheers
Paul

The pipe from the thermostat housing mostly goes to the highest part of the rad. :D That's why it's called the top hose. :bounce:

Likely to not be bled properly, they are difficult.

Haynes manaul or check pipes with another car. Very unlikely the pipework is incorrect tbh...

I had a similer proplem i jacked the front up so the rad was the highest part and managed to get the air out ok and bobs ur uncle
