Just a quick question.
On my td5 discovery the gearbox will need to be changed soon, as the syncro's are on their way out.
i've just been offered an r380 gearbox from a 300tdi discovery.
basically the question is, will it fit?
if not what needs to be changed?

no it wont , if 300 tdi is a j suffix then it cant be converted either,dont throw your old box away they can be redone easily by someone with tools and knowledge
