Went to top up gearbox today and found that some Muppet has rounded the inside of the filler plug. I suspect it's been overtightened and rounded with an air tool. Any suggestions for it's removal please?

if its just spinning in what's left of the thread can you get a small flat bladed screw driver in at the side to pry it out as you turn it?

Thanks for offer BLASER much appreciated. But good news, managed to shift it, couldn't chisel it, but stud extractor set from screwfix £9.99 did the trick. Should've heard my language when it shifted after three evenings trying
