will a steering colum and box from a series 3 fit a series 1 as the one on my series 1 is shot and i have a spare series 3 lying about spare. can the complete part/assembly be straight exchanged/swapped. my email is my username if anyone could help please contact me direct cheers jase.

bolts fastening box to bulkhead support are larger on series 3 and colunm is different ,but anything is possible
