Hi folks
just been under the car checking a few things and noticed on the vcu there is a small hole with what looks like a ball bearing in it (only reason i noticed was some paint had flaked from around it ) does anybody know what this is please .

It's the fill hole from when it was made new by GKN. They pump in the correct amount of the correct fluid, then seal it with the bearing by pushing it in.
