French diesel has a a higher percentage of bio in it,but I run my 300 tdi on 100% homebrew bio with no problems.Be careful though as some frech garages sell two grades of gasole-one for trucks(cheaper) and dearer grade for cars.
I went over there last summer then went to Holland and it ran better on Dutch Diesel than French no major difference but felt smoother and slightly better MPG
