Hi all,
I'm looking at getting the QT front diff guard and rear diff rock slider for my Disco.
Has anyone fitted these before?
I think the front is fairly straight forward - I think one end the damper bolts onto the guard instead of its current mounting.
However, there are two types for the rear rock slider. One for a rubber drive coupling and one for a non-rubber drive coupling.
Does anyone know which bit is the drive coupling - it is easy to see if it's rubber or not? Or even better - based on my car being a 96 V8, anyone know if it would be rubber or not?
I've read a few good comments about these guards - they seem to be the ones to get at the moment.
Does the front protect the track rod sufficiently - or is it better to get a full length track rod guard? (the only one I've seen is from Scorpion).
Any thoughts / ideas appreciated. Thanks.
